Pretty & Polished Elvis' Pink Cadillac (over Butter London Teddy Girl) |
Just a simple mani that combines two of my favourite things - a pretty, sugar pink cream and a black glitter! I wore Butter London Teddy Girl for a day, the added the Pretty & Polished. Teddy Girl is a super-girly pale pink; it's quite opaque - I used three coats here and the application is pretty good for such a paste shade.

Then I added a single coat of Pretty & Polished Elvis' Pink Cadillac. This is black glitter in a light pink jelly base; the pink is a little brighter than BL Teddy Girl and it pulled the mani a bit brighter - which I like. I think it would probably take rather a lot of coats of Elvis' Pink Cadillac to get a good density of colour, so I'd consider this to be a layering polish. In the bottle, there are larger black hexes, but I didn't get any on my nails. This wasn't entirely intentional, the larger black hexes seemed to be firmly stuck to the bottle - but I do prefer the simplicity of a single size of black glitter so had I got any out I'd probably have put them back in the bottle.

I purchased BL Teddy Girl at my local Boots and Pretty & Polished Elvis' Pink Cadillac was a gift from a friend.
That's such a pretty combo!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh you really should get a prize for these photos! I've never seen anyone who photographs nails the way you do. Its like you eliminate everything, even fingers, except for the nails! Then you have them fill the entire frame almost. So, when someone looks at them its literally just the nails! They become almost like their own entities when they almost fill up the screen. Your photos are just amazing!
