Tara's Talons Changes

Tara's Talons Changes over Butter London Fiver

This is one of Tara's new year themed polishes, 'Changes'. It really appeals to me not only because of the colours but the irregular shapes of some of the glitters. I've developed a bit of a fascination with shard glitter recently. And I've always had an obsession with matte glitters - so this one is an all round winner for me! Here it is in the bottle:

I just love those big green shards! Look at the one on my index finger............

I used Butter London Fiver as the base for this mani. Fiver has a good application for a mint green - this mani is three coats and there was no streakiness. I wore Fiver on its own for a day or so before I added the glitter (two thin coats of Tara's Talons Changes with a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food to smooth the glitter out and a coat of Seche Vite quick drying topcoat to finish of the mani with a high shine. Here's a macro to show the full complexity of Tara's Talons Changes.

I bought Tara's Talons Changes direct from Tara's Etsy Shop, and Butter London Fiver from my local Boots.
