M&S Limited Collection Polish Ultraviolet

I'm really impressed by this range of polishes at M&S, maybe not the most obvious place to look for interesting polish. I'm a great fan of bright, creamy pastel colours and there are some really nice ones here. This is the third one I've bought and I've been really happy with all of them.

This is called 'ultraviolet' - a bit of a misnomer since it's not a violet at all but a really pretty periwinkle blue. If you are familiar with Essie Bikini So Teeny and Illamasqua Cameo, this shade fits about midway between the two.

I used two coats here, with SV as my topcoat. I found this polish reasonably easy to apply; there was a bit of streakiness like you might expect for a pale cream like this, but nothing that SV couldn't easily smooth out at the end.

Another great thing about this polish is the price - £3.50. The bottles are 8ml - smaller bottles don't bother me at all, I've been painting my nails for as long as I can remember and I don't think I've ever used up a whole bottle. I prefer variety!
