Pretty Quirky Summer Collection - I Stole The Bouquet

Pretty Quirky I Stole The Bouquet
Pretty Quirky I Stole The Bouquet

This is the second polish I'm sampling from Pretty Quirky's upcoming Summer Collection. I Stole The Bouquet is a light white crelly base with sugar pink dots and light grey hex glitter. I love matte glitters, so this is one that I was instantly attracted to.

I was going to layer it over white, but I had a stroke of inspiration while I was wearing this polish the other day, and ended up layering it over a new polish which I believe is the palest taupe in my collection!

This is Nails Inc Sao Paulo Streets - believe it or not this was FREE with InStyle magazine. Well OK, I wouldn't have bought the magazine if it didn't have the polish, and I won't read it, but it was £2.50 in Tesco - and this is a fantastic polish. I'd happily pay Nails Inc full price for this shade - I love pastel nudes so much! This is like a pastel version of Porchester Square, which is one of my all time favourite nail shades. One day soon I'll do some nail art with the two of them.

Anyway, back to Pretty Quirky I Stole The Bouquet, I decided that Sao Paulo Streets was the perfect undies for it. I added just one coat of I Stole The Bouquet, and I love the effect. Application of I Stole The Bouquet was perfect, plenty of glitter came out on each brushful and the base didn't streak at all when I applied it over the coloured polish.

The circle glitters are quite big so I used a coat of Sinful Colors Over The Top topcoat, which is quite thick and gel like, to smooth the mani out before applying Seche Vite to finish with.

I was sent I Stole The Bouquet as a sample for review. Pretty Quirky's Summer Collection launches on Friday 16th May in the Pretty Quirky Etsy Shop. Pretty Quirky has a blog too, and a facebook page with more information about the polishes. I reviewed another polish from the collection, Deva, the other day and I have two more to share this week.
